From one family’s journey to a mission of understanding

My Story

This all began over a decade ago when my son Mason was born. At first, everything seemed like a typical new family chapter, but as he grew, we noticed little signs that he was different. He didn’t respond to his name, didn’t cry much, and avoided eye contact. We didn’t think of autism at first, but eventually, it became clear. A family member suggested it, and once we looked into it, it all made sense. It was a tough realization, and it changed our lives.

At that time, I was running a successful business. But as Mason’s needs grew, I sold the business to focus on our family. We also welcomed his little sister Aria. She adored her brother and wanted so much to play with him, but it wasn’t always easy. Mason’s sensory world was different, and Aria needed a way to understand him.

That’s why I wrote My Brother Talks in Bubbles. It’s a story through Aria’s eyes, helping kids understand that some siblings communicate in their own unique ways. It’s all about empathy and celebrating differences.

In the middle of all this, I turned to gaming content creation as a way to find a new path and support us. I built a big following on platforms like Facebook and TikTok. But as Mason’s challenges got bigger and more demanding, I knew I had to shift focus again. That’s when I decided to create content about autism—our experiences, and the lessons we learned. We found a community of families like ours, and it’s been amazing to connect and help others. This journey led us here: to writing the book, creating resources, and building a website to share what we’ve learned.
